This award is given to a young professional in memory of Mary FitzGerald, a CPMA Director and industry leader who was passionate and dedicated to the fresh produce industry.

This prestigious award is presented to a company that has gone above and beyond in promoting the Half Your Plate program aligning with CPMA’s goal to increase the consumption of fresh produce in Canada for better health.

The Packer's Produce Person of the Year Award
The coveted “Packer’s Produce Person of the Year Award” is presented to an individual who has excelled in all facets of their career in the past year including business success, fostering relationships in the produce industry, and giving back to the community.
The winner of this award is selected annually by The Packer staff.

This award honours an individual who has been recognized by their peers for their significant contribution to the produce industry throughout their career and for their continuous support of CPMA activities and industry initiatives.
