YOUNG PROFESSIONAL AWARD
The Young Professional award is given to a young professional who displays passion and dedication for the produce industry.
The call for nominations for the Young Professional Award is now open.
Nominees for this award must meet the following criteria:
- Be Canadian
- Be under 40 years old
- Demonstrate a passion for produce
- Be currently employed by a CPMA member company
The winner will be acknowledged at the Awards Brunch on Thursday, April 30, 2026, and featured in the CPMA Produce Talks podcast at a later date.
Do you know a young professional whose work deserves to be recognized? Nominate this person by Friday, March 20, 2026. The final selection of the winner will be at the discretion of CPMA.
FRESH HEALTH AWARD
This prestigious award is presented to a company that has gone above and beyond in promoting the Half Your Plate or Freggie Children's program aligning with CPMA’s goal to increase the consumption of fresh produce in Canada for better health.
Examples of using the programs include:
- Tagging either program in your social media posts
- Using the logo on your email signature or website
- Promoting either program to your business connections
- Using the logo on any promotional materials or transportation

The call for application for Fresh Health Award is open until Monday, March 30.
This award will be presented on Thursday, April 30, at the Awards Brunch.
THE PACKER'S PRODUCE PERSON OF THE YEAR AWARD
The coveted “Packer’s Produce Person of the Year Award” is presented to an individual who has excelled in all facets of their career in the past year including business success, fostering relationships in the produce industry, and giving back to the community.
The winner of this award is selected annually by The Packer staff.
The award will be presented on Thursday, April 30, at the Annual Banquet.

CPMA LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD
This award honours an individual who has been recognized by their peers for their significant contribution to the produce industry throughout their career and for their continuous support of CPMA activities and industry initiatives.
The award will be presented on Thursday, April 30, at the Awards Brunch.

BEST BOOTH AWARDS
The 2026 CPMA Trade Show will continue the tradition of recognizing exhibitors for their efforts in creating outstanding displays and providing a high-quality experience to Trade Show attendees. Winners will be named in three categories:
Judging will be done by a panel of industry experts.
BEST NEW PRODUCT AWARDS
These awards recognize exhibitors who are participating in the New Product Showcase, for their innovative new products. The winners will be announced on Thursday, April 30, at the Awards Brunch and the awards will be presented on the trade show floor.

- Best Snackable Product
- Packaging Innovation
- Best Organic Product
