Taxis
There are always taxis waiting at the airport. Taxis are a quick, easy way to get to and from Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Taxis departing from the Billy Bishop Airport will charge approximately $15 - $25 to downtown Toronto
If you’re flying into Toronto and want to grab a taxi, you will find them located on the mainland, just outside the ferry terminal.
Ferry
Take one of the world’s shortest ferry rides (121 metres / 90 seconds) to and from the foot of Bathurst. There’s a ferry every 15 minutes.
The ferry is free for pedestrians and $11 for vehicles (round trip).

Shuttles
There is a complimentary shuttle bus to and from Billy Bishop approximately every 15 minutes. You can catch the shuttle at the west entrance of the Fairmont Royal York Hotel.
Want to jump on the shuttle? Head to the north-east corner of Front and York Streets, across the street from Union Station, and come to the airport in comfort.
You can take public transit (the subway, GO Transit or the PATH) to Union Station and cross the street to enjoy the free shuttle service.
Public Transit
Billy Bishop is easily accessible by streetcar. With frequent TTC service, you’ll be dropped a short walk from our ferry terminal building.
Thinking of taking public transit? You can hop on the 511 Bathurst streetcar (via Bathurst Subway Station) or the 509 Harbourfront streetcar (originates at Union).
VIA Rail
VIA Rail operates up to 497 trains weekly on 12,500 kilometres of track, and serves 450 communities across the country, from coast to coast and north to Hudson Bay.
